Rated 4 out of 5 by Dusty7416 from 48x48 Gray Lego Baseplate Review Overall, this Lego baseplate is pretty good. There is just one drawback. The Lego baseplate is not designed to move around. If you have a creation on it, it may bend if you move it. This is because this Lego baseplate and all Lego baseplates are thinner than a single plate. However, this Lego baseplate is at the largest size of all Lego baseplates. This means you can build a larger creation in a single Lego baseplate than a 32x32 Lego baseplate. Buying this Lego baseplate is mostly likely recommended.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Foshow from Very Very Useful The base plate is very large, and is great for building structures and setting up scenes; which is exactly why I bought it. The bottom is flat, so it is thin and flimsy. I didn't plan on stacking it on anything so I'm OK with that. I recommend this to anyone who needs a lot of stud coverage.
